Preschoolers from Sarnów in the Siewierz Forest District

Since September this year, 6-year-old preschoolers from the Tigers group attending the Public Kindergarten. Winnie the Pooh in Sarnów entered kindergarten and now they attend the “Wise Owls” group. This is the oldest group of preschoolers taking part in the project: “Little with age, but big with eco-heart”. Under the care of their preschool teacher, Mrs. Magda, children learn about the world, discover their interests and develop social skills, and learn about nature. They are always willing and ready for various types of trips.
On October 2, 2023 the “Wise Owls” group participated in a trip to the Education Center of the Siewierz Forest District. Once there, all the children greeted the foresters. At the beginning, employees of the Siewierz Forest District conducted a talk with preschoolers about ecology, the environment and caring for nature, and gave a gift in the form of a seedling to the entire kindergarten. Later, they showed the children the animal and bird exhibits at the Center. The children listened and recognized the sounds of animals, recognized them by their tracks, recognized tree species, and learned about the working tools of lumberjacks in the past and today. The children liked the animals the most: a wild boar, a squirrel, a hedgehog, a badger, and birds.
A walk along the educational path was also fun because the children collected chestnuts and acorns, saw a pasture, a nesting box, a hunting lodge, and wonderful tree specimens.
The summary was a visit to the pond of pond turtles lying in the sun.

The end of the trip is roasting sausages, singing together by the bonfire and having fun.
The donated seedling will definitely be found in the kindergarten garden.

The trip was organized as part of the project “Little with age, but big with eco-heart”: project number: 2022-3-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000097905.
